根據《紐約時報》統計數據顯示，企業採用人工智能的比例持續攀升，今年已有近八成公司在至少一項業務職能中應用該技術。此現象凸顯人工智能在商業領域的地位日益提升。近年全球經濟面臨下行壓力，企業普遍追求降本增效。探索運用包括人工智能在內的科技手段以優化流程、提升效率，正成為推動企業增長的關鍵因素。

在此背景下，由大灣區青年科創基金會主辦的「Gateway to Tomorrow」項目應運而生。項目旨在提升本地大學生面向未來商業的關鍵能力，尤其注重將人工智能整合至商業決策流程——此舉對把握全球商業發展趨勢至關重要。參與本項目的學生將獲得必要的技能與實踐經驗，未來可更有效地推動各行各業智能化轉型，為支持區域乃至更廣泛範圍的經濟與商業發展貢獻價值。

比賽歡迎來自全港22間大專院校的全日制學生組隊（每隊4至5人）參加，並根據指定商業個案提交詳細計劃書。經過初步遴選後，最多十支表現最優秀的隊伍將晉身決賽，於評審團前即場匯報及介紹其計劃書內容，角逐殊榮。

According to statistics from The New York Times, the adoption of AI by businesses has been steadily increasing, with nearly 80% of companies using AI to assist in at least one business function this year. This illustrates the increasing significance of AI in the corporate world. In recent years, the global economic downturn has led various industries to explore how to leverage technological conveniences to reduce costs. Therefore, it is believed that the AI Application will undoubtedly become a key factor in the growth of businesses.

To explore the benefits of AI Applications for Businesses, "Gateway to Tomorrow," hosted by the GBA Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Foundation, aims to equip local university students with essential competencies of business in the new generation. The integration of artificial intelligence applications with business decision-making is crucial for the future development of global business. By participating in this program, students will be well prepared to contribute to the AI Application of different industries, supporting and fostering economic and business growth

Full-time students from 22 tertiary institutions across Hong Kong may form teams of four to five members to participate, submitting detailed proposals based on designated business cases. After preliminary selection, up to ten of the best-performing teams will advance to the final round, where they will present and introduce their proposals to the judging panel in pursuit of top honours.

我們希望「Gateway to Tomorrow」計劃能夠幫助學生在領導力、創業精神和職業發展等方面獲得提升。參與者和義工將有機會認識來自不同行業的專家和導師，拓展人脈網絡，深入了解人工智能在實際商業世界中的應用，並通過指導和交流掌握人工智能決策策略。此外，計劃還將為參與者提供現金獎勵、推薦信、證書以及人工智能相關行業的實習面試機會，助力年輕人實現長遠職業及創業成功，從而推動積極的改變。

We hope that the "Gateway to Tomorrow" program can help participants (including volunteers) enhance their leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, and career development. Participants and volunteers will have the opportunity to connect with experts and mentors from various industries, expand their personal networks, and gain in-depth knowledge about the applications of AI in the real business world. Through mentoring and networking activities, they will also acquire insights into AI decision-making strategies. In addition, the program will offer cash prizes, reference letters, certificates of completion, and internship interview opportunities in the AI-related sector, empowering young people to achieve long-term career and entrepreneurial success and create positive change.

這個項目由初賽和決賽組成，並包含兩個核心部分：導師指導和評委反饋。參賽隊伍將獲得來自行業專家的實用建議，並通過專業評委的評價和建設性反饋提升表現。

This program consists of a first-round and final-round business case competition, featuring two key elements: guidance from mentors and feedback from judges. Participating teams will receive practical advice from industry experts and improve their performance through fair evaluations and constructive feedback from professional judges.
